How Will My Gift Be Used?

Curriculum Expansion

An academic curriculum offering more than 100 courses focused on STEAM disciplines including Science, Math, English, World History, Art, Music, Applied Media and Computer Programming

Hands-on Experiences

Hands-on and career-exploration programs such as Certified Nurse Assistant, Marine Technology, Outdoor Leadership, and Culinary Arts

College Preparatory

Advanced Placement courses as well as early college courses

Athletic Enhancements

A wide range of athletics including soccer, football, basketball, baseball, softball, indoor track, track and field, cross country and cheerleading in addition to wrestling, tennis, swimming, and volleyball many of which take place in the Academy's Athletic Complex which includes an 1,100 seat gymnasium, 3 athletic fields, and tennis courts

Scholarships

Financial assistance for students wishing to attend Washington Academy as well as graduating seniors who are pursuing higher education

Various technology needs including a sound system, DSLR cameras, musical instruments, as well as art supplies
