On Tuesday, November 21, New Student Seminar, and the Spanish class, as well as the National Honor Society, and the STARS groups collaborated to make pies to be given to the Machias Veterans Home for Thanksgiving. The delicious pie assortment included chocolate cream, pumpkin, vanilla cream, and apple pies. A few students even made fall centerpieces to be placed on the veterans Thanksgiving tables.
A total of 15 pies were delivered. We hope that all of those at the Machias Veterans Home had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed their pies and beautiful centerpieces.
