Mackenzie Cates Currier is a 2021 Washington Academy graduate. After leaving WA, Mackenzie attended Thomas College in Waterville, Maine, and graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications, Public Relations, and Marketing.
Since graduating from Thomas College, Mackenzie has visited campus as a guest speaker in the WA Marketing and Entrepreneurship class and as a photographer. She is the owner of Mackenzie Currier Photography and is very busy providing professional photography services in the greater Machias area. Mackenzie’s photos can be found throughout the WA website and other marketing materials representing the Academy. Her passion for photography began during high school, when she used her mom’s camera and took the WA yearbook class.
Last year, she married her high school sweetheart, Anderson Currier ‘20, and is expecting her first child in May of 2026.
