SPRING ATHLETICS 


BASEBALL

The Raider baseball program has a strong presence on campus! Players, as team members, are strongly bonded as a family on and off the field. The program consists of varsity and junior varsity teams, with the varsity team frequently playing in the Northern Maine Championship game at the end of the regular season. The 2025 varsity team is the reigning 2025 Northern Maine Champions! The typical baseball season consists of sixteen games with eight games played on the state-of-the-art Adien and Leon Look Athletic Field.  

 

TRACK & FIELD

Co-ed Track and Field is a popular sport at Washington Academy, with amazing team spirit and camaraderie. The team boasts recent state champions from 2022 and 2023 in the 100-meter dash, long jump, and relay, and a 2025 Penobscot Valley Conference champion in the javelin. The typical track and field season consists of six meets. 

 


 

BOYS TENNIS

The Washington Academy boys tennis team has a strong sense of camaraderie on and off the court! The typical boys' tennis season consists of 12 matches, with 6 played on the Raider home court. 

SOFTBALL

The Washington Academy softball team is a committed group of girls who dedicate themselves to the sport. The typical softball season consists of 16 games, with 8 played on the Foster Athletic Field.

GIRLS TENNIS

The girls' tennis team at Washington Academy is a fierce competitor on the court. The 2022 team holds a state championship title, and the 2023 state championship team holds a state runners-up title. The typical girls' tennis season consists of 12 matches, with 6 played on the Raider home court.
