Throughout its history, Washington Academy has relied upon the involvement of alumni, parents, faculty and the community to promote the important work of the school. We are deeply grateful for all those who are committed to furthering the work of the Academy in countless ways.

• An academic curriculum offering more than 100 courses in Science, Math, English, World History and Culture, Arts and Music, New Media and Computer Programming
• Hands-on and career-exploration programs like Boat Building, Marine Engines and Culinary Arts
• Advanced Placement courses as well as courses through the University of Maine at Machias
• Athletics including soccer, football, basketball, baseball, softball, cross country and cheerleading in addition to wrestling, tennis, golf and volleyball many of which take place in the academy's 1,100 seat gymnasium
• Scholarships for students wishing to attend WA
