The Annual Senior Development Breakfast was held at Washington Academy on June 2. The seniors gathered with their advisors and many teachers and staff to enjoy a delicious breakfast served by the WA Kitchen. The yearbook dedication and In Memoriam was presented, and also the WA Alumni Association Scholarship was given. The Washington Academy Senior Class of 2011 presented Mrs. Sherry Radeka with the highest honor they could by dedicating their class yearbook to their supporter and reliable fundraising advisor. Richard and Margaret Gardner were present to receive a complimentary yearbook and framed page of the In Memoriam, in memory of Richard’s father Arthur “Tart” Gardner, who served as a headmaster at WA for 17 years. Jordan Spencer was awarded the WA Alumni Association scholarship, and also will serve as the 2011 Class Agent within the Association.
