NHS Provides To Local Food Pantry
On Monday, December 18, members from the Washington Academy National Honor Society donated and delivered 52 pies to the Machias Food Pantry. NHS members were looking for ways to help community members who were less fortunate over the holiday season. Helen Vose, director of the Machias Food Pantry, called WA thanking the students for the pies and to let them know that all the pies had been given out to local community members in need. Those receiving the pies were very pleased and grateful. Congratulations to all those involved for doing such a wonderful job.
