Host Families

Living with a host family is a great way for international students to immerse themselves in American culture. Host families are carefully chosen and are friendly and eager to open their homes and lives to WA students, sharing meals, going to the movies, and taking family trips. Frequently students and their host families stay in touch long after graduation.

Whether a student is coming from Toledo or Tokyo, living away from home can be a bit scary. But soon, Washington Academy becomes home, too!
