I designed my history classes to educate
students about the origins of global
cultures and to help students theorize
about how and why societies have evolved
to their present status.
This year, I will be teaching Washington
Academy’s first Sociology course,
which will focus on how people develop
perceptions about their environments
and how these perceptions affect human
interactions. The course will step away
from traditional paper and pencil learning
and will involve a lot of field study
and casual observations in numerous
surroundings.
Along with teaching, I coach the JV
girl’s basketball team, enjoy
hunting, fishing, and canoeing, and
am an avid reader. I am currently pursuing
a Master’s Degree in educational
administration.
