The hardest part of her job, she says,
is "having to say goodbye to seniors
each June." Mrs. Plummer's personal
love for expressive language is evident
in her favorite quote by Emily Dickinson:
"Hope is the thing with feathers—that
perches in the soul." Rumor has it that
Mrs. Plummer was also a great golfer
in her day.
Mrs. Plummer holds a Master of Arts
in Journalism and Communication and
is active in many state and national
professional organizations. She is the
director of the Maine Writing Project's
Young Authors' Camp at the University
of Maine.
She teaches American Literature, Creative
Writing, and Advanced Placement English
Literature and Composition.
