Throughout its history, Washington Academy has relied upon the involvement of alumni, parents, faculty and the community to promote the important work of the school. We are deeply grateful for all those who are committed to furthering the work of the Academy in countless ways.
Your gifts help provide support for:
• An academic curriculum offering more than 100 courses in Science, Math, English, World History and Culture, Video Production, Music Appreciation, Web Design and Computer Programming.
• Hands-on programs like Boat Building and Environmental Science.
• Advanced Placement courses as well as courses through the University of Maine at Machias.
• Athletic options including soccer, football, basketball, baseball, softball, cross country and cheerleading in addition to wrestling, tennis, golf and volleyball many of which take place in the academy's 1,100 seat gymnasium.
